82nd Airborne Division Association
All New 60th Anniversary (1944 - 2004) History Book

In 1997 Turner Publishing and the 82nd Airborne Division Association released their first publication together documenting the complete 82nd Airborne Division's history. It is now time to update our history and add more personal stories and biographies.

If you have a story you would like to see in print, then get it together now. Our goal is to produce a highly readable, entertaining and informative publication. A perfect companion to the first publication.

This publication will be a remarkable collection of intensely personal stories and anecdotes — narratives and accounts written by you — members of the 82nd "All American" Division.

Mail your story to Turner Publishing for possible inclusion in the book! Please limit your story to 2,000 words and include any photographs you have. Please be sure to write your name and address on the back of each photo. Also, write a caption for your photos including the names, location, date and event that is taking place.

We are wanting as many biographies of 82nd members as possible for inclusion. If you submitted your biography and two photos in one of Turner's previous publications, then our publisher can pull your biography and photos from that publication which you participated. See below for more biographical details.

You may submit your story in handwritten form, typewritten, or computer generated. Just be sure to send a story about you, your friends and memories of being associated with the All-American Division, but do so now.

The 60th Anniversary history will be written by our own historian, Steve Mrozek. A section on Ft. Bragg will be featured in our new publication along with the latest peace keeping missions of the 82nd Airborne Division. You do not have to order a book to be included and all materials will be returned to you after the book has been published.

-Manuel E. De Jesus
