With over 40 years experience as a real estate professional, Bob Measamer joined the firm of Thompson-McLean Real Estate, in 1961. Bob's real estate expertise is evidenced through peer recognition. In 1984 he was elected President of the Fayetteville Area Association of Realtors. From 1988-1990 he served as the Regional Vice President and from 1998 - 1999, as Treasurer of the Fayetteville Area Association of Realtors. In 1999, he was elected and served as 2001 President of the North Carolina Association of Realtors. He was awarded the Regional Service Award in 1986 and served on the Realtors Political Action Committee as a Trustee from 1992 - 2001 and Chairman from 1997 - 1999. In 2001, the Fayetteville Association of Realtors named him Realtor of the Year. A strong advocate of community involvement, Bob is a past district governor and chairman of the State Council of Governors of the Lions Club International; past president of the Fayetteville Lions Club; a past trustee of the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina; past trustee of the North Carolina Eye and Human Tissue Bank; a past trustee of the North Carolina Association for the Blind; and is a Mason and a Shriner.
