Fayetteville Area System of Transit is making the bus ride even
easier and more convenient with some up-to-date technology.

     The FAST Card has finally arrived.

What is the FAST card?
Where do I get one?

The FAST Card is a swipe card that will replace the old bus tickets. You purchase the FAST card at the FAST Information Center or on the bus. This card system will make your FAST experience easier and FASTER for you and our drivers.

How do I use the FAST card?

FIRST - Before you get on the bus, please have your money or already purchased FAST card in hand. THEN - It's easy...follow the directions on the fare box as to where your money or card is insertred.

 

   
  • If you have money, please notice the coin insert, just below the dollar bill insert, located on the lower right-hand side.
  • If you already have your card, validate it in the ticketmaster slot, then swipe it.
  • Then - All Aboard
   
 

REMEMBER - Transfers go into the fare box the same way as FAST Card except they do not pop back up to you. They stay in the fare box. If you have questions, please call FAST at 433-1747 or ask your bus operator.
