Trinity Episcopal Church
Holy Trinity was born in the summer of 1951 when a group of active members of St. John's parish gathered to organize a new parish. Within a year, the group had acquired the site and broken ground for the new sanctuary. Holy Trinity was built on 6 beautiful acres in the historic Haymount area. Dotted with dogwood, azaleas, and camellias, Holy Trinity was and is a welcoming presence in the neighborhood. The first service in that elegantly plain sanctuary was held on December 19, 1952. |
